Wizardly
A Walk & Talk Simulator
|
As my bachelor project at the ZHdK I created Wizardly. It is a game aimed at teaching kids some basics of the English language such as commonly used words, colors, sizes, etc. The game relies on audio and visual assistance in order for the player to ''translate'' the words for themselves as it is fully in English.
Voice controls serve as the main game mechanic, allowing the player to interact with the world by practicing their understanding and pronunciation. The game visuals and programming were created by me, while the voice overs were recorded by a few of my classmates. Wizardly was nominated for the yearly Encouragement Award at the ZHdK and featured on Digitec as well as other websites. |
DU5-7Y Schizophrenic Alien Survival

The game Nullipara was created by Andreas Strahm and me during our 4th semester at the ZHdK. The game is an action puzzler with a small story hidden inside. That of Fleur, a woman struggling with her identity and femininity after not being able to have children. The game follows her as she reflects on her life and past relationships.

Qualitical Android AR App
Qualitical is an AR app, which gets triggered whenever it detects the logo of the Swiss 20 Minuten newspaper. The app was created by Ju Young and me as a critique against the gossip and fake news we see in the 20 Minuten. The new content we projected over it jumps off of the page, using 3D graphics and aims to wake up the viewer and move their attention to more pressing issues.
If you want to try the app out yourself, you can download it for your Android phone from our website at qualitical.weebly.com |
